Love Stories. That was the theme of the Valentine Brunch the Riverhawks for Christ group hosted Saturday, February 11th. Our students planned, decorated, and organized some light entertainment for the ladies of South College Church of Christ. Each guest was asked to bring an item, card, or a memory of something in their past that made them feel loved. The stories that were shared were in inspiring and heart-warming.
During the light entertainment, Austyn Rice and Lauren Leopard sang "Can't help falling in Love," Emma Hatfield and Kaly Winton sang "Somewhere over the Rainbow," Andy Willis and Lissie Franklin sang "You are my Sunshine," and Andy Stone read an original poem written for the occasion.
Moments like this warm the heart and make you thankful for your Church family. I'm certainly thankful for these kind, loving, and compassionate students!
