We just want to say a big thank you for your continued financial support. Every gift you give helps the ministry here on campus, and we truly couldn’t do this without you. We’re also incredibly grateful for the steady support of our new Student Center building project—each month we get a little closer to reaching our goal, and the excitement is building right along with it!
Last month, a group of our students combined with a few students from Springfield, Missouri, traveled to Pikeville, Kentucky over spring break to serve with the Church of Christ Disaster Response Team out of Dayton Ohio. The area was hit hard by recent flooding, and our students spent the week helping local families clean up. It was so encouraging to see them give up their break, drive across the country, and pour themselves into the lives of total strangers. Several of those we worked with were brought to tears when they learned just how far our students had traveled.
I’m reminded of what Paul wrote in Philippians 2:3: “Do nothing from selfish ambition or conceit, but in humility count others more significant than yourselves.” These students are continuing to exemplify that sentiment daily, and this practice continues to be possible through your encouragement and support.
Thank you again for your support. We’re grateful for every prayer, every dollar, and every word of encouragement. God bless you!
